Youth Basketball Coach

We are one of Bergen County’s leading AAU CLUBS. We are fundamentally reshaping youth athletics from a basketball standpoint.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

– Inspiring a profound love of basketball in all players.

– Collaborating with other coaches in the program to build a world-class basketball program.

– Instilling values of respect, team spirit, passion, modesty, fair play, and individuality in our players.

– Managing a basketball team practice schedule.

– Investing time into a game plan.

– Engaging in one on one trainings, clinics, practices and games.

 

Successful candidates should also have the following experiences and characteristics.

 

– Have experience coaching youth basketball.

– Provide a list of references.

– Willing to conduct a criminal back round check.

– Are passionate about basketball and are familiar with accessories such as the best basketball training pads.

Practices are 90 minutes long, 1 to 2x’s a week.

Practices are ran in the Westwood Area.

Bio and Head Shot is required for the website.

Games/Tournaments are local, with in a 15 mile radius.

Team Pay/Hourly wage can be discussed at interview.

 

 

Performance Coach
Gametime University is looking for an energetic individual with knowledge in the areas of performance, strength, and conditioning to join our Gametime coaching team. This position offers the performance coach the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages on an individual and group basis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching athletes to improve their athleticism, strength, agility, and speed.
  • Designing and administering effective strength programs.
  • Managing schedules and implementing new ideas.

A degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, athletic training, or related field is required. Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association or Internal Youth Conditioning Association is preferred. Potential to become a full-time position/partnership. Coaching schedule is flexible.

Job Type: Part-time
